Use Unstuck only for geometry traps

Open the pause menu and use Unstuck when normal movement cannot free the Responder. The 30-second charge is deliberately slow and can be interrupted by danger, so clear nearby threats or ask the squad to cover you before starting it.

  • Confirm you are genuinely trapped rather than blocked by a door, objective state or teammate.
  • Expect to return to the last spawn point, not the exact place where you became stuck.
  • Use it outside active combat; the restrictions are intended to stop it becoming an escape shortcut.
  • After recovery, note the map and location so the geometry issue can be reproduced.
02

Reconnect decision order

  • Wait briefly to confirm the session did not recover on its own.
  • Relaunch the game with the same platform account used for the interrupted match.
  • Do not start a different match or switch parties while attempting to restore the original session.
  • If the reconnect option appears, use it before creating a new lobby.
  • If recovery fails, record the time, platform, build and disconnect message for official support.
03

Actions to avoid

Do not delete local saves, unlink platform accounts, reinstall the game or expose account credentials because an unverified post claims it will restore a single match. Those actions can create a second problem without making the original session available again.

04

Report a repeatable stuck location

  • Map and mode
  • Nearest named landmark or objective
  • Movement taken immediately before the trap
  • Screenshot or short clip that shows the geometry
  • Current build number and platform

Important limitation

The developer described Unstuck and reconnect as frustration-reduction tools, not a guarantee against every disconnect, expired server or map issue. Their exact availability can change by patch, and a session that has already ended cannot necessarily be restored.
