Assignments and Merits

The official economy post describes four random weekly Assignments per set, with two higher-payout tasks. They award Credits and Merits. Merits are a non-purchasable gameplay currency used to streamline cosmetic purchases.

Permadeath consequence

Nightmare Tokens now belong to the individual Responder. If that Responder dies, their legacy follows them to the grave. Account level remains the public indicator of broader access to gear and skills.
